Default Flashmod No Longer Works with Recent Update

If you are getting a crash after logging in GW, you probably have Flashmod running. When running FlashMod, you will receive this error code:

Code:
c0000005
To remove Flashmod follow these steps:

1. Go to C:\Program Files\Guild Wars
2. Look for the file Graphics.dll and remove it.
3. Reboot the game and no crash!

I had this problem right after Thursdays update. It seems Flashmod no longer works. Also I couldn't find FM in CW so I posted it here.

DOWNLOAD WORKING VERSION:

Flashmod is a mod that makes the GW window flash when you receive a whisper. handy if you're trying to sell something and want to look at something other than GW while you do it.

I'd heard from Kuntor, maker of the high-rez mod, they were going to remove the ability to use any mod that required the use of graphics.dll. If they did, that would be why flashmod no longer works.

Now that we know what Flashmod is, who is FM and where's CW?

FM=flashmod CW=community works

From my understanding, the graphics.dll file used in both flashmod and the high-rez mod also makes it possible for other, more nefarious programs to be launched and interact with GW, including bots, keyloggers, and other nasty stuff Anet doesn't want us to use. It's more to close a liability than it is to stop modders.

As far as texmod is concerned, since it doesn't interact with the GW.exe, but rather as an intermediary between the program and your graphics card, I don't believe there's anything Anet can do to stop you from running it.

Hmmm - I have the high_def switch active in my settings.ini file, and have graphics.dll in the guild wars folder. High def is still functioning in the game with no issues.
